In 1988 we headed to Kuwait as part of a church-planting operation. A job at the medical school provided the platform for our entry into the Muslim country. For two years we worked with the delightful members of a Bedouin tribe, all the while carrying on Jim’s job and Shirley’s homeschooling of the children. Then, the Iraqi attack intervened.
Now, more than twenty-five years later, we decided to record our experiences with God’s gift of faith during the five-month trial. We want all to know the Lord keeps His promises. And reading the adventure story may keep you up late!
